Dear Me
D E A R M E
I'm sadly happy to say sorry
To the day I wore you a sad smile
While discreetly, I wed love and hatred
As I became a pleasant loner.
I remember when you were young
You stared at the best of days
That flys beneath the scorching sun
But years leave quicker than they come.
I wish I could hold back those days
When you watched the sunrise
And smiled at it till dusk arrived
But, yesterday holds us no questions.
Help me remember to forget
The dusk that appeared at sunup
That caused you to grunt in a world
Where they shout instead of whispering aloud.
I heard your feeble voice
Shouting silently to the Morrow
As it decreed the unforeseen fate.
But, the Morrow just lost sight.
