Black God
Open closely your silent soul
To this sound of grief
Sealed with awful relief
Tell me, are you truly black?
At the tunnel of me, lies—
Holy Sins and naughty decency
On me, War and peace matrimonies
Smiling just to please the airy
Why made me a future gazer
And a past lodger
Why made me like a Vantablack
Just to make me a slow runner
Tell me, are you also black?
Why then did you create the wars
my kids are feeding on?
Heed not a dogear to my grief
Black God, Why?
My six brothers are all white
You single me out raw black
I can't compose my exile anymore
Close wide your outer soul
Shuttle it down my cheeks
Wipe away the grief on me
Let me shine brighter than my brothers.
