I'm Africa

I'm Africa,
The throne of poverty
I nurture brutality
I worship the gods that lack—
'I'm the mother of Blacks.

I'm Africa,
I'm ugly beautiful
I've cheeks that fade
With wide melancholic eyes—
'I'm the Mother of Blacks.

I'm Africa,
I trade my dignity with vanity
And proudly lock-in lunacy
I murdered my sane head—
'I'm the Mother of Blacks.

I'm Africa,
From the family of Lord Zeus
If I want the world to hear me,
I only talk with Ammunition—
'I'm the Mother of Blacks.

I'm Africa,
I'm just an exorbitant sepulcher
I quench my thirst with blood
I'm full of sweet tears—
'I'm the Mother of Blacks.

I'm Africa
I'm afraid of who I am
I've no faith in fate
My siblings betrayed me
I wish I'm strong.
