Myself
If I could go back in time
I would rewrite the truth
Of how I felt about myself
This couldn't be me.
O'er the unseen years,
I massacred who I was
Because I vanished in myself
trying to please ourselves.
I, Me, was just a flesh
I gave myself up for my soul
To take ownership of my spirit
But, I didn't right my wrongs.
If I was truly myself,
I wouldn't be this Me
a monk who slew humanity
In a quest for some vanities?
I was a no man's child
Yet, an alien in disguise
'Cuz, I was who I am not
But, I'm someone I thought I was.
Let me rewrite my myth
I want the world to tell of it.
