Die in Dark
If the sun sleeps and snores
I'll skulk by the shadows
And smooch the beautiful dark
I want to end in the night.
I wouldn't want to live
If the dawn visitor arrives
I wouldn't want to listen to tales
of This black woman, let me die.
I want to die in black garb
and reawaken with white suits
so that my humanity will be conceive
I want to drink brotherhood too.
Kilimanjaro
You hunched uphill for years
feeling so proud of your children
who grazes on the flesh of her sisters,
Please kill me.
Splash me a Safari dirge
let me kill my thirst for black life
because the drum beaters
has lost their fate.
Let me die in black;
let me give birth to white children -
children who will know not greed
they'll not dine with chewing prayers
I want their necks to stretch to Asia.
